Congratulations on your forth-coming marriage and thank you for choosing Platform 1 as an option for your wedding reception. We are an independently owned hotel, full of charm, warmth and generous hospitality. Unique in design with modern furnishings we are a stylish venue and a one off in the East Yorkshire area.
Unlike other venues Platform 1 does not expect you to conform into a standard wedding package. Customization is very important and through detailed discussions and tailoring every aspect, we can create, exactly the right atmosphere for your special day. We understand the standard wedding package is now a thing of the past and to that end we now have our own events team. This team is a combination of highly skilled professionals in both cuisine and hospitality with the highest of standards and meticulous attention to detail. It is the strength of the team's commitment that makes the noticeable difference to every wedding.
We aim to provide the personal touch to ensure expectations are met and we have the flexibility as an independent hotel to make your day a truly memorable occasion. You will have your own dedicated Wedding Coordinator who will guide you through each stage of your planning including for example, menus, entertainment, table plans and any extra requirements you desire.

Banqueting Suite
- Afternoon 12 noon till 17.00 hrs £175.00
- Evening 18.00 hrs till 12 midnight £175.00
- Afternoon & Evening 12 noon till 12 midnight £350.00
Platform 1 also benefits from a late licence should you require an extension to the given times.
Extension Hours
- 1.00am £25.00
- 2.00am £50.00
The banqueting suite can not be hired as a room only and all catering is supplied by Platform 1.
